Weekly Write-Up: 8th July 2020
Welcome to the SPF Weekly Write-Up, where each Wednesday we collect together the self-publishing news of the week so you don’t have to.
A super-brief one this week: black voices in publishing.
Black Voices in Publishing
Google told me this article was related to self-publishing… and it wasn’t. Still, it’s worth a read regardless of one’s socio-political views – given the historical marginalisation of black voices in the publishing industry (both for writers and publishers) and the fact that many of the non-fiction charts are currently dominated by books about race and racism.
You can have a read of the (non-self) publishing article over at the New York Times, here.
