Weekly Write-Up: 10th June 2020

Welcome to the SPF Weekly Write-Up, where each Wednesday we collect together the self-publishing news of the week so you don’t have to.

This week: Amazon announces its Pen to Publish winners, and Ads for Authors opens for registration.

Pen to Publish Winners

Amazon runs an annual competition in the UK called the Kindle Storyteller award, but it’s not the only competition they host. There’s also Pen to Publish, which celebrates works across English, Hindi and Tamil languages.

The winners have been announced! In the long-form category, they are: Ramakrishnan B’s “The Story of India through food: OPOS Cookbook” (English), Rajneesh Chaturvedi’s “Antarman: Ek Salesman ki Anokhi Kahani” (Hindi), and Bruno Guru’s “Science and Psychology of Paleo Diet” (Tamil).

And in the short-format category: Vijay Kakwani’s “Who Killed Kaneez?” (English), Mansi Dadhich Mahur’s “Meri Sakhi Sunita: Ek Laghukatha” (Hindi), and G Lenin’s “2K Kid: Thiruvalluvar Year” (Tamil).
